Purchasing the E2BN Protex local web filtering & caching service.

Please follow the instructions below. Remember that to install the Protex filtering service you must have already purchased an Appliansys Cache and have it set up and working - contact your supplier direct for help with this if required - and access to the web-based administration interface.

(1) Complete this form : these details are required to configure the Protex filtering system correctly so please ensure that you have all the requried information to hand and that the form is completed fully and accurately. Note: once the install has taken place users will need to point their browsers at the filtering system on ports 8080 (students) or 8084 (staff). Access will not be allowed directly to the cache software: all subsequent internet access must be via these user profiles.

(2) After submitting the form print two copies of the proforma invoice. One should be returned to E2BN with a check for the amount shown and the second retained for your records. The subscription number on the proforma will be required for installation. When payment has been received the service will be activated and you will be notified by email.

NOTE: As we are not, in all cases, able to tell when you complete this purchase form whether you are on or off net your first invoice will always be for the off-net price. If you are on-net this will give you a 16-month subscription; if off-net it will be for 12 months.
