Internet Direct Hosts

This interface is only available on Protex servers with certain configurations - in particular when it is being used as a gateway.

Use this screen to add hosts on the local network that require direct, unfettered access to the internet. Ususally these will be servers running applications that require access to a range of ports or special protocols.

Hosts can be added as either single IPs or in CIDR format. After each entry click Save Changes and a new, blank line will be added to enable multiple IPs or CIDRs to be added.

To delete and entry just blank it and Save Changes

To make the changes live you will need to do a Protex Hard Restart which will cause some service interruption or select Apply Changes instead and the changes will be activated overnight.
