Confirm Configuration Changes
After making changes to the server's configuration the Protex software needs to be restarted so that the changes can be incorporated into the running version. In most cases a reboot is not required but the restart does involve a loss of service for a few minutes and all existing connections will be dropped, so it is best done at a quiet time.
If the changes do not appear to have stuck then a reboot should be done before any further investigation.
